He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellis and Lula Ellis; his daughter Anita; and his siblings, Carl (Linda), Joyce and Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Chris" Ellis; and his children, Crystal Mowen (Bart), Frank Jr. Ellis (Tonya) and Rhonda Rector (Randall). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
