The memory of Janet L. Sherwood of West Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet Griffin (McCubbin) and Roy Griffin; and her siblings, Laura Jean Griffin, Lois Hall, James Griffin and Lee Griffin.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Sherwood; her children, Laura Furness (Patrick) and David Sherwood (Amy); her grandchildren, Brook Sherwood, Whitney Sherwood, Hannah Furness and Andrew Furness; and her sisters, Betty Oates, Linda Kerns and Judy Painter.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1793 Co Hwy 18, Bellefontaine, OH 43311).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, in care of St. Patrick Catholic Church, 321 E. Patterson Ave. Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
