She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Coate Niswonger; her sisters, Rebecca Beam, Mary Magel and Nan Wilson; her half-sister Marjorie McElwee; and her stepbrother Claude Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Mikels of West Milton and Samuel C. Niswonger of Laura; her grandchildren, Stacy Douglas, Amy Kitchen, Cody Niswonger, Emily Smith, Nathan Niswonger and Sam Niswonger; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Kitchen, Karly Douglas, Cory Douglas, Katlyn Douglas, Kinsey Douglas, Conner Niswonger and Gavin Smith.
