He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sparks and Mildred Diamond Sparks; and his siblings, Dock, Donald, Hank Sparks, Gladys Roe, Ethel Lyons and Donna Truman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Miller Sparks; his children, Brad Sparks (Megan), Angela Brown (Ron) and Amy Sparks (Justin Kuhn); his siblings, Charles Sparks, Rosie Brown and Debbie Pope (Keith); his grandchildren, Abbigayle (Nathan), Noah, Hannah, Corra, Miller and Eli; and his great grandchild Will. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's association.
