She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kitchen and Pearlia Ann Mershon McNeil; her husbands, Marvin Paul Rice and Edward Roy; her son Marvin Gregory Rice; her siblings, Joe McNeil, James Edward McNeil, Virgil, Viral, Eugene Mault, Marie Bowling, Sylvia Thicken, Rosetta Welch and Lima Mault; and her great great grandchild Kynleigh Gifford.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Roy, Debbie Pendleton, Connie Gifford and Julia Stapleton. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
