It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Hughes of West Union, Ohio, born in Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Eugene "Bub" Shannon Hughes; her parents, Edward Curtis and Maude Curtis (Ball); and her sister Sharon Curtis. She is survived by: her husband Eugene T. Hughes of West Union; her children, Monty Boyd (Heather) of Peebles and Shelly Ann Boyd of Alexandria, Kentucky; her stepchildren, Teresa Reid (Mike) of Williamsburg, Trina Sparks (Sandy) of Seaman, Teri Crawford (Chuck) of Seaman, Tammy Pinto (Chris Foster) of Winchester, Theilia Payne (Rusty) of Dandridge, Tennessee and Travis Fitzpatrick (Shea) of New Market, Tennessee; and her brother Winston Curtis. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
