He was predeceased by: his brother David Whitley. He is survived by: his parents, Jerald Whitley and Virginia Whitley (Hardin) of West Union; his wife Melissa Whitley of West Union; his children, Jessica Housh (Kevin), Jenny Whitley of West Union and John David Whitley of West Union; and his grandchildren, Ethan and Makayla.
