He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Salyer and Eva Salyer (Adams); his wife Jewell Salyer (Blanton); his sisters, Kathleen "Kay" Loop (Salyer) and Eulajean "Jean" Jackson (Salyer); and his sons, Phillip Arthur Salyer and Jerry Lynn Salyer.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kay Salyer (Pratt) of Ridgefield, Washington.
