She was predeceased by: her siblings, Francis Rodgers, Viola Sells, James Weddington, Raymond Weddington, Reynolds Weddington and Theo Weddington; her grandchildren, Frankie Allen and Sarah Sheffield; and her great grandchildren, Makila Diaz and Lillie Ann Sheffield.
She is survived by: her parents, Sam Weddington and Lillie Griffin Weddington; her husband John McGary Sr.; and her children, Carol Allen of Lucedale, Linda Rutledge of Marion and John McGary Jr. of Westlake. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
