He was predeceased by: his parents, George Charles and Irene Hafner (Blanchard); his son Michael Hafner; his brother Rev. Robert Hafner (Angie); and his brother-in-law Ron Yenni.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Ray Hafner (Eccles); his daughter Carol Niedermeier (John) of Willard; his grandchildren, Heather Heyman (Joe) of Willard and Cody Niedermeier (Kyleigh) of Willard; his great grandchildren, Connor Niedermeier and Carolynn Heyman; his sister Nancy Yenni of Mansfield; and his daughter-in-law Lana Hafner of Sulphur, Louisiana. He is also survived by six nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio or to the First Assembly of God in Willard, Ohio.
