With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Lee Traxler of Willard, Ohio, born in Shelby, Ohio, who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Charles and Rozella Traxler (Kurtzman); his brothers, Robert Traxler and Arthur Edwin Traxler (Pam); and his mother-in-law Veva Jacobs.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Traxler (Jacobs); his children, Daniel Traxler (Judi) of North Fairfield and Danette Exline (Dan) of Caledonia, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ashlee Traxler, Cory Boone (Kate), Chasity Kowalski (Garrett) and Caitlin Boone (Joshua Monk); his great grandchildren, Carter and Nolan Boone; and his brother Larry Traxler (Mary) of Ashland, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws and numerous friends.
The family wishes that everyone will abide by the COVID pandemic precautions by wearing a mask and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
