He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Eckstein and Catherine P. Eckstein (Pessefall); and his brother-in-law Steven Ireland. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Hanchuk (Greg) of Berea, OH; his grandsons, Andrew and Nikolai Hanchuk; his partner Jean Laser of Willard, OH; his children, Eric Laser (Shelli) and Kendra Holmer (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathan Laser, Jared Holmer (Kenzie), Jenna Holmer and Barrett Holmer; his siblings, Elizabeth Ireland of Hilliard, OH, Thomas Eckstein (Diane) of St. Paul, MN and Eugene Eckstein (Jane) of Memphis, TN; and his siblings' children, Sarah, Matthew, Adam, Christopher, Jeffrey and Nathan.
