He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hamons and Edna Hamons (Montgomery); and his siblings, Dean, Melvin Hamons and Sandra Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hamons (White); his sons, Scott Hamons (Angie) of Plymouth, Gregg Hamons of New Haven and Dale Hamons of Canton; his grandchildren, Jacob Leclair, Kristopher Hamons, Nichole Hamons Reed, Nathan Hamons, Grant Hamons, Brianna Workman, Dalton Hamons, Addilynn Hamons, Caiden Hamons, Cordell Sipe, Carter Jamie, Harper, Lilly and Knox; and his siblings, Lois Moore, Robert, Paul Jr., Daryl and Jeff Hamons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
