He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Snipes and Mae Snipes (Caudill); his wife Clarinda Snipes (Slone); his son Lawrence Keith Snipes; his siblings, Janice Vanderpool (Marion), Lois Keene (Herman), Joe Snipes and James Leo Snipes (Dorothy); and his brother-in-law Bob Kaple.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Kirkman (Thomas) and Robert Snipes (Jeanne); his daughter-in-law Rhonda Snipes; his grandchildren, Mandi, Matt (Kate), Garrett, Keleigh Snipes, Josh Snipes (Stella), Shayne and Erik Myers; his siblings, Leatrice Reed, Mary Kaple (Donald Auck), Velma Bishop (Larry), Barb Yosick (Jim), Ruth Ramey (James) and Douglas Snipes (Sharon); and his sister-in-law Ollia Snipes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
