He is survived by: his wife Helen Salyer (Blevins); his children, Terry Salyer, Leland Salyer Jr. (Kathy), Patricia Salyer and Sherry Patterson (Terry); and his siblings, David Salyer, James Salyer, Richard Salyer, Sam Salyer and Rose Rutledge. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
