She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Leroy and Patricia Ann Thompson (Baker); her husband Dennis Ritchie; and her sisters, Roseanne Wetzel and Kathy Green.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Tackett (Jess), Penny Ritchie (David Fidler), Scott Ritchie and Cleet Ritchie; and her brother Larry Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
