He was predeceased by: his son Larry Fields; his granddaughter Cynthia Milton; and his brothers, Pleasant, James, Daniel, Walter, Bige and Simi Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fields; his children, Linda Lindsey (James) of Williamsburg, OH, Pamela Shipley of Mt. Orab, OH and Roger Fields of Mt. Orab, OH; his grandchildren, Brandon Lindsey (Christina) of Williamsburg, OH, Brett Lindsey of Williamsburg, OH and Shawna Burkholder (Tom) of New Richmond, OH; his great grandchildren, Seth Lindsey, Madison Milton, Lexi Lindsey, Luke Walker Lindsey, Elijah Walker Burkholder, Abby Burkholder and Walker Noah Sharp; his brother Hubert Fields of Cookville, TN; and his pet Roughhouse.
