She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Bailey (Kreuz) and Delmar Bailey; and her siblings, Terry, Barbara and Polly.
She is survived by: her husband Philip H. Detering; her children, Sharon Detering and Bryan Detering (Jennifer Manning); and her grandchildren, Oliver and Bridget. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 20 great-nieces and nephews.
