Glen William Ramseyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glen William Ramseyer of Wilmington, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Ramseyer and Ferne Ramseyer; his siblings, Bob (Alice Ruth) and Mary Jean Wells (Bob); his wife Mary Alice Burry; his children, Jeri (Duane Earley), Cindy Ropp of Bloomington, IL and Randy (Jenny Ramseyer); his grandchildren, Grace Eads (Dustin), Sarah Evans (Phil), Laura Dobney (Joel), Katie Ropp, Matthew Ropp (Lisa), Rachel Ropp, Craig Ramseyer (Caitlin) and Maggie Branton (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Paxton, Irene Eads, Titus, Patrick, Gideon, Lydia Dobney, Maddie Price, Brody, Tucker Ropp, Hudson, Oakley Ramseyer, Gunnar and Finley Branton.
Because of the COVID pandemic, a private graveside ceremony will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill's honor to the Bill and Mary Ramseyer Scholarship Fund at UVa-Wise; Wilmington College; Bluffton College; or to Mennonite Home Communities.
