She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond K. Horstman and Adeline F. Horstman (Radke); her stepfather John Lloyd; and her brother Roger Horstman (Leona). She is survived by : her husband Ken; her children, Heidi Kanary (Tom) of Toledo and Thomas Steinert (Kristine) of Avon; her grandchildren, Sean Kanary (Cassie), Tyler Kanary (Lauren Martin), Tara Kanary (Justin Price), Rachel Birch (Kyle), Madelyn Kozel (Christopher) and Luke Steinert; her great grandchild Roland Kanary; and her siblings, Raymond Horstman (Carol) and Marilyn Malone.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
