It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Brenda Mae Sandwisch of Woodville, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 84, on October 18, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Achilles "Chilly" Baumer and Verna L. Baumer (Niehousmyer); her husband Alan A. Sandwisch; her siblings, Faye Carl (Bill) and Jerry Baumer; her son-in-law Doug Seifert; her siblings-in-law, Donna Sandwisch, Tom Sandwisch and Marvin Burner; and her nephew Matthew Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Sandwisch, Vicki Seifert of Pemberville, Connie Icsman (Todd) of Woodville and Traci Hummer (Michael) of Arlington, OH; her siblings, Jeannette Miller (Edmund), Beth Custer (David) and Jay Baumer (Tina); and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Shreffler (Joe), Jeanine Dunn, Virginia Baumer and Dennis Sandwisch. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Solomon Lutheran Church (305 W Main St, Woodville, OH 43469).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: the American Diabetes or Cancer Society.
