He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Abramson and Bessie Abramson; his wife Carolyn; his sister Libby Abramson Grasgreen; and his son-in-law Alan Pearlman.

He is survived by: his children, Ann, Larry (Laurie) and Dan (Amy); and his grandchildren, Angela, Melanie, Michael, Nathan, Adam, David, Julia and Maya. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
