He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Parsons and Alice Parsons (McCray); his sons, Cary Parsons and Mark Henry; his grandson Kyle Combs; and his siblings, Kenneth Parsons, Richard Parsons, Barbara Moorman, Betty Vaught and Martha Belle Stripe.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. Henry; his children, Mike Henry (Denise) of Wren, Mick Henry (Holly) of Van Wert, Julie Childs (Bill) of Payne, Jodie Kinnaley of Greenville, Marie Combs (Kurt) of Monroe, Melissa Knous of Decatur and Mandy Couts (Jason) of Ohio City; and his siblings, Carl Parsons, Jr. (Judy) of Van Wert, Roger Parsons (Linda) of Ohio City, Doyle Parsons (Pam) of Scott, Merle Parsons (Deb) of Van Wert, Shirley Arnet of Ellettsville and Romain Sparks (Donnie) of Martinsville, Indiana.. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
