He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean Enxing, William "Jerry" (Peggy) and Gerald "Jerry" (Mary Anne). He is survived by: his wife Charline Schofield McNamee; his children, Michael (Cynthia), Mark (Joy), Kathleen, Charlie (Courtney) and David; his grandchildren, Erin Giles (George), Michael, Daniel, Charles H., Nolan, Abigail, Hillary, Patrick, Garrett, Chelbie Able (Tyler), Cody and Sarah; and also, Melissa Lively (John David), Reagan Burch, Amanda, Kauffman, Jeffrey Lively (Alisa) and Ryan Lively. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
