He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burke Fields and Mallie Fields (Smith); his wife Loretta Fields (Robinson); his daughter Lisa Eby; his son-in-law Owen Eby; his grandchildren, Nathan (Natasha Eby), Christina Eby and Justin Eby; and his great grandchildren, Noah and Naomi Eby. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dayton Area Alzheimer's Association.
