He was predeceased by: his parent Leo Fourman; and his brother Eugene Fourman. He is survived by: his parent Eleanor Fourman (Parin); his wife Viola Fourman (Pitstick); his children, Angela Sanders (Jonathan) and Michael Fourman (Amy); his brother Jan Fourman (Linda); and his grandchildren, Grant Fourman (Taylor), Elaina Fourman and Nicholas Fourman.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Richard's name to the P.O. Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215.
