Evan left this world on November 14, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Evan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Otis and Vesta Christian (Barnhart). He is survived by: his wife Judy Christian; and his sisters, Sharon Marsh (Russell), Diana Clyborn (Ronnie) and Margo Furer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel (222 W Center St, West Mansfield, OH 43358). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the York Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
