With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John C. Schinker (Youngstown, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on August 7, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schinker and Marion Schinker; and his daughter Jolyne. He is survived by: his wife Georgia (Zucco); his children, John (Debbie), George and Dynele Schinker-Kuharich (Ray); his grandchildren, Emily Schinker, Samm Schinker, Cameron Kuharich and Kyle Kuharich; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lane Austintown Chapel (5797 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
