It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia Hammersley of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Emerson Chubb and Twila A. Chubb (Hughes); her husband Robert E. Hammersley; her daughter Deborah Mayse; her siblings, Forrest Chubb, Rosalie Eberts and Ronald Dale Chubb; and her close friend Elizabeth "Betty" Zimmerman (Bob).
She is survived by: her son Mark Hammersley (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Jasmin Mayse, Abigail Hammersley (Reisce Barnes), Lacey Hammersley (Brian Donnelly), Kenton Hammersley (Vanessa Antivero) and Ryan Hammersley (Alexandria). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1705 Pine St, Zanesville, OH 43701).
