It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Frederick Frick Sr. of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Julius Frick and Kathryn Gillogly Frick; his son Chad Michael Frick; and his brothers-in-law, Dan Shoemaker and Duane Bunker.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Jean Stiers Frick; his sons, Matthew "Matt" David Frick (Jennifer) and David "DJ" Frederick Frick Jr. (Melanie "Mel"); his grandchildren, Tyler Thomas Edwards-Frick, Alysa Jane Edwards-Frick, Landan David Frick, Gauge Wyatt Frick, Xander Halkovics, Gavin Halkovics, Indy Evans (Carson) and Dustan McDew; his great grandchildren, McCoy Edwards-Frick, Talyn Edwards-Frick and Rowdy Ryatt Edwards-Frick; his sisters, Diane Bunker, Jean Kearns (Grant) and Helen Shoemaker; and his friend Kim New. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
