He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Clinton Kirkbride and Bonnie June Davis-Losinger; his siblings, Albert "Leo" Kirkbride, Linda Dillion and Robert E. Kirkbride; and his stepfather Cyrus "Red" Losinger.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia M. Angler Kirkbride; his children, David Kirkbride Jr. (Patty), Robert E. Kirkbride, Kelly Kirkbride (Steven Dilley) and Crystal Russell (Bob May Jr.); his siblings, Charlie Kirkbride (Dorothy), Dorothy Dillion (Russ), Danny Kirkbride (Judy), Tim Kirkbride (Donita), William "Bill" Kirkbride and John Losinger (Tina); his grandchildren, Breauna Kirkbride, Bradyn Kirkbride, Bailey Kirkbride, Christopher Kirkbride, Anthony Kirkbride, Donovan Russell, Madison Russell and Bonnie Russell; and his close friends, Jerry Daniels and Steve Gibson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
