He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lanning and Marjorie Reed Lanning; and his son Brandon Noland Edward Lanning. He is survived by: his wife Tina Dunlap Lanning; his sisters, Vickie Slaughter (Mike) and Sandra McCloud (Kirk); his siblings' children, Ira, Darcy, Misty, Stella, Stacy, Katie, Kelcey, Christina, Susan, Lucas, Josh, Zak, Thomas, Shawn, Carson, Dillon, Angelo, Jeff and Roule; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Joseph (Tom), Mike Dunlap, Irvin Dunlap and Tom Dunlap.
