He was predeceased by: his father Randall K. Gifford; his uncle Steve Gifford; and his grandparents, John, Barbara McPeak and Don Gifford.
He is survived by: his sister Anthea Hammond (Gerry) of Gahanna; his sibling's children, Jaden Hammond and Ava Hammond of Gahanna; his uncle Mike McPeak (Judy) of McArthur; his aunts, Kathy McKenzie of Dublin, Carol Dingey of Zanesville, Judi Ponchak (Gary) of Pennsylvania and Kathy Randa (Jim) of Mason; his grandmother Marilyn Roth (Gifford) of Columbus; his stepfather Bill Factor Zanesville (Barbara Huth); Sara Gifford (Derek Gorsuch).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillis Combs Funeral Home (935 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to organizations supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention, in honor of Jeremie's courage and compassion.
