He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph A. Stevens Sr. and Nancy Stevens Brock; his wife Marjorie Stevens (Leasure); and his siblings, Bacil Stevens, Beulah Brock, Leonard Brock, Roberta Sprecher and Vesta Moore.

He is survived by : his daughters, Beverly Watt (Craig) of Galloway, Stephanie Paul (Bob) of Zanesville and Stacey Sorrell (Scott) of Galloway; his granddaughters, Heather Barnes (Joe), Amanda Marshall (John), Courtney Paul, Kaleigh Matesick (Rob), Kelli Paul and Sydney Sorrell; his great grandchildren, Abbie Barnes, Jack and Owen Marshall; his sister Lucille Ayers; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Bush and Lois DeBord; and his pet Amy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
