He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Poppinger; his daughter Gloria Amspaugh; his stepson Mike; his grandsons, Dominic Conkle and Benjamin Amspaugh; and his brothers, Harry Pitts, Dennis Pitts and Wesley Pitterman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as several other friends and family.
