It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Shafer of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, Wayne Shafer (Virginia) and Trisha Morrison Johnson (Dave); his daughter Jessica Shafer; his sisters, Natasha Shafer, Sarah Shafer and Alexis Shafer; and his stepbrother Jake Johnson.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
