It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Fortner of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Jarrett; her husband Marty Fortner; her sister Brenda; and her brother-in-law Bill Mitton. She is survived by: her mother Sandra Jarrett; her children, Chris Chema and Carrie Strickler (Adam); her grandchildren, Blake Wilson (Chelsey) and Madison Wilson; her great grandchildren, Lynx Wilson and Jamison Clifton; her siblings, Roxanne Smith (Doug), Jerry Jay Jarrett (Nancy), Karla Maddox (Paul) and Dustin Jarrett (Heather); and her pet Bella. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William Thompson & Son Funeral Home (5765 Gladstone Dr, White Cottage, OH 43791). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
