She was predeceased by: her parents, David S. Hamilton and Natalie Lambert Hamilton Schmick; her sister Mary Ruth Basler; her former husband Bruce E. Gaskins; and her husband James Schumacher.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Christopher A. Gaskins (Neysa) and Dr. Brady P. Gaskins (Heather); and her grandchildren, Devyn, Weston, Nathan, Zachary and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church (830 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Zanesville Memorial Park (1475 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701).
