He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Shirer and Rollie Shirer; and his wife Wanda Shirer. He is survived by: his close friend Kay Baker; and his children, William Kelly Shirer, Joni Hildenbrand, Susie Ayres, Zane Weaver, Becky Bird and Tami Fisher. He is also survived by Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-greatgrandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter or Genesis Hospice.
