She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Lawson and Cephus Lawson; her daughter Paula May Bearden; her brothers, Edgar and William Lawson; and her friend Bob Cristelli.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Lawson Bearden (Angela) of Austin, TX and Ralph David "Bo" Bearden (Stephany) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Miles, Carter, Susannah Bearden and Adam Vogel; and her sisters, Joy Lawson Herrin and Judy Lawson Schroeder.
