She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Elmer Floyd and Dora Matilda Wilmoth (Lane); her husband Elmer Jo Markes; her children, Jolene Beaty (Steve) of Afton, Earlene Hildebrand (Matt) of Vinita and David Markes (Tami) of Afton; and her nieces and nephews, Wesley Wilmoth, John Dody, Chrystal Hughes and Glenda Pasley.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorene's name to Trinity Southern Baptist Church.
