We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2020, at the age of 79, Lavon Marian Wiersig (Alva, Oklahoma), born in Protection, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hazen and Edith Hazen (Thomas). She is survived by: her husband Virgil Wiersig; her siblings, Eugene, Ora Lee and Irene Ross; her siblings-in-law, Dixie Hazen, Jack Anderson and Earl Webster; her son Kurtis Wiersig (Sandy); her grandsons, Cole Adler, Hagan Asher and Griffin Arrick; her sisters, Lavona Hobson, Lila Webster and Melva Anderson; and her brother-in-law Al Hobson. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Zion Lutheran Church, the NWOSU Foundation, or the Alva Goldbug Foundation (checks for the Goldbug Foundation must be made payable to CFO).
