She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Walmer and Charlotte Walmer (Doty); and her husband Harold "Dean" Wood. She is survived by : her children, Skip Wood (De) of Wheatland, OK, Julie Mason (Jerry) of Ringwood, OK and Kim Edmondson (Kirby) of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren, Chaney Hale, Dana Hartfiel, Lori Dankenbring (Brad), Traci Stiefer (Jody), Jacque Mason, Brandon Edmondson (Stephanie), Lindsey Higgins (James) and Whitney Hartman (Lance); her great grandchildren, Riley, Patrick, Kristyn, Lauren, Kyle, Shaylee (Kyle), Zack, Mikayla, Kira, Peyton, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Sadie, Kelby, Oliver and Charlotte June; her great great grandchild Cory; her siblings, Isabell "Toots" Dennis and John "Buck" Walmer; and her sister-in-law Jean Dyche.

Memorial donations can be given to Ames Cemetery or Ames Fire Department with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
