He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeraldine Edwards (Tyler) and Charles William Edwards; and his sister Kandi. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Edwards of Antlers, Oklahoma; his daughters, Amy Dougherty (Dennis) of Hubert and Amanda Sansevere (Patrick) of Mission Viejo, California; his brothers, Kevin, Kris and Kirk Edwards of Iowa; and his grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Elizabeth, Abigail, Violet Dougherty, Maverick and Ronin Sansevere.
