He is survived by: his siblings, Earl Shannon (Arzelia), Peggy Stevenson (James), Vernita Traylor, Sandra Shannon and Rae Ann Shannon; and his siblings-in-law, Hattie Shannon, Gilbert Anderson, Eugene Brown and Larry Stevenson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
