He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Hamersley and Nancy Vera Hamersley (Roberts); his stepmother Myrtle Dee Hamersley; his brothers, Tommy and J. W.; and his grandsons, Clifton and Jacob Norton.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Hamersley; his daughters, Vera Hardin (David) of Velma and Pam Norton (Bob) of Velma; his brother Jackie Hamersley of Crosbyton, TX; his grandchildren, Melinda Childress and Courtney Folsom (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Makayla Folsom, Yabsira Folsom, Joey Folsom, Abby Childress, Emma Childress and Dylan Childress.
