It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Smith (Ardmore, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 5, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stanley Smith and Cora Edith Smith (Stice); and his siblings, Goldie Stidham, Ruth Stone and Stanley "Ernie" Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda; his daughters, Janet Sanders of Wanette and Jennifer Hays (Jerry) of Durant; his siblings, Lonnie Ray Smith (Fern) of Ardmore and Betty Buttram of Tecumseh; his grandchildren, Tyler Sanders of Wanette, Coleman Sanders (Ashlei) of Oklahoma City, Logan Hays and Candace Hays; and his great grandchild Tobias Sanders of Oklahoma City.
