He is survived by: his children, Deanna Lee Stites, Gary Stites, Jr. and Richard Stites (Ashley); his grandchildren, Jessica Stites Bonilla, Gabrielle De La Torre, Alyssa Lee De La, Haley Houser and Hunter Reames; and his siblings, Johnny Stites, Chris Stites, Mary Ann Hawkins, Carol Bradley, Linda Stites, Anita Stevens and Denise Hall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
