He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Johnson and Artie Johnson (Butler); his siblings, Kenneth Johnson, Sybil Davoult and Faye Cummings (Louie); and his nephews, Darryl Davoult and Verlin Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Cogburn; his daughters, Kimberly Smith, Paula Johnson and Leanne Wilson (Johnny); his friends, Pete, Rosemarie Bray and Timmie Ross; and his goddaughter Priya Higgins. He is also survived by son at heart; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
