He is survived by: his wife Therese Tibbs; his children, Tommy Tibbs (Amy), Matt Hamilton and Vickie Van Zant (James); and his siblings, Linda Comer (Otey), Verna Lee Robinson, Barbara Smith (Bobby), Bill Tibbs (Cherry), Jerry Tibbs (Darlene), Claude Hamilton and Kirk Hamilton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
